Russell Schaller's cartoons have been a highlight of The Island Current for many years. He created lighthearted cartoon strips depicting community groups, events, and people that always brought a smile to the face of every Islander. Here is one such example from the May 2007 edition. Since his passing, the cartoon has been created by another artist who prefers to go by the pseudonym of Daisy.
